The IBM support dates to plan around.
Dual support for EAM 7.6.1.x under the MAS license ends April 30, 2027.
Still running 7.6.1.x beside your Maximo Application Suite license? We map your applications and users to AppPoints first, so the move to MAS is planned before you order.
IBM says perpetual trade-up customers must complete migrations to MAS by April 30, 2027; subscription upgrade customers remain in compliance, but EAM 7.6.1.x will no longer be supported. IBM’s base support for Maximo Asset Management 7.6.1.x ended September 30, 2025.

Version 9.0 moves to extended or sustained support on June 30, 2027.
On 9.0 today? We plan the next version with you and count the AppPoints it needs, so you know the number before you order.
IBM’s Support Cycle-3 policy for 9.0: 3 years of support with a 1-year critical fix extension, then usage and existing fixes for 3 years; IBM lists completion of extended and sustained support as June 30, 2031. IBM’s 9.1 page lists no end-of-support date.

Your next asset platform can flag issues early.
- It keeps work orders, asset history and maintenance processes in one system.
- It reads sensor data to flag issues early, for condition-based maintenance.
- It weighs maintain, refurbish or replace against risk, cost and budget.
The maintenance system you run today may be serving you well. This is what Maximo Application Suite adds.
We size it with you. You see your price first, within one business day. Where you want to try it first, IBM offers a guided trial of Manage and Health, and one of our engineers sets it up beside you.
One suite, from work order to plan.
Maintain.
IBM says enterprise asset management in Maximo holds work orders, asset history and maintenance processes, with use cases from asset inspection to field service and inventory.
Predict.
IBM says asset performance management uses analytics and sensor data to detect issues early and support condition-based maintenance.
Plan.
IBM says asset investment planning compares maintain, refurbish or replace scenarios against risk, cost and budget.

Three of IBM’s own figures.
Two capabilities to try.
IBM offers a guided trial of two Maximo Application Suite capabilities: Manage, for enterprise asset management, and Health, for predictive maintenance.*
One entitlement.
IBM says you add functionality and users with a single entitlement of AppPoints, and pay for what you use.
10,000 field technicians.
IBM says Transport for London supports 10,000 field technicians with IBM Maximo.
* IBM’s words and figures, from its Maximo Application Suite page and its pricing page, read October 24, 2026. IBM does not state the trial’s length. Transport for London’s figure is as IBM’s product page prints it; IBM states no period or measurement for it.

Count the AppPoints first.
IBM licenses Maximo Application Suite in AppPoints: each application and user type takes a set number of them. It runs as client-managed software, on premises, on a hyperscaler or hybrid, or as SaaS. We count your AppPoints with you before you order.
Real estate and facilities, too.
IBM Maximo Real Estate and Facilities brings leases, space, capital projects and maintenance into one system, with AI that IBM says extracts key dates, financial terms and clauses from leases. IBM offers demos of it, not a trial. Where there is a cheaper route, we name it.

What you get.
If you run maintenance and reliability.
You get work orders, asset history and sensor-based health in one suite, and a guided trial of Manage and Health where IBM offers it.* Our engineering team sets up your first sites with you.
If you manage real estate and facilities.
You get leases, space, capital projects and building maintenance in one system, with AI that IBM says pulls key dates and terms from your leases. Our engineering team sizes it to your portfolio.
If you are the CIO.
You get one AppPoints entitlement for the suite, client-managed or SaaS, and a plan for IBM’s April 30, 2027 date for 7.6.1.x. Pay only for what you need. See your price first, within one business day.
You have real choices. Here is each one, plainly.
Keep the maintenance system you have.
Nothing to buy. Nothing to move. What Maximo Application Suite adds will still be here when you are ready. On Maximo Asset Management 7.6.1.x, IBM’s base support ended September 30, 2025.
Buy from IBM itself.
IBM sells directly to fewer than about 100 companies and organizations in the United States. Everyone else buys through an IBM Business Partner. So the real choice is which partner.
Buy through another IBM Business Partner.
Same IBM software. Same IBM programs. Ask three things: who counts your AppPoints, how soon you see the price, and who stays with you through the move.
Choose a different asset management platform.
Right when your team already runs it everywhere. Compare three things: work orders, asset health and replacement planning in one suite; one AppPoints entitlement; and client-managed or SaaS.
Track maintenance in your own tools.
Right when a few sites and fixed schedules are all you track. Not when inspections, sensor data and replacement budgets have to meet in one place.
Buy it through us.
You get the same IBM software. And you get our engineering team: we count your AppPoints with you, show you your price first, and stay with you through setup and support.
IBM builds Maximo Application Suite. We size it with you.
You see your price first.
Tell us what you’re after. One business day later you have a price, sized to fit, with nothing in it you don’t need.
Our engineering team owns it.
The engineers who size it set it up and stay through support. IBM Business Partner since 2008, 29 of 29 IBM proficiencies, one team the whole way.
It is our pleasure to meet you.
230 briefing centers in 113 cities. Pick one; one of our engineers brings the coffee. Or meet us online.
Our engineering team maps your assets, sites and users, counts the AppPoints, picks client-managed or SaaS, gets the licensing right, then sets it up and supports it.
It would be our pleasure to size yours.

We would rather tell you now. Maximo Application Suite is not the fit if your sites are few and their maintenance runs on fixed schedules, or if what you need is to report energy and emissions across your sites rather than maintain the assets. For that, ask us about IBM Envizi. See IBM Envizi
