From recommendations to actions you trust.
- It maps applications, containers, VMs and infrastructure, and how resources flow between them.
- It scales, places and provisions workloads from live demand, by your policies.
- It lets you choose which actions run on their own, and keep the rest.
The tools your team uses today may be serving you well. This is what Turbonomic adds.
We size it with you. You see your price first, within one business day. Where you want to try it first, IBM offers a 30-day trial, and one of our engineers sets it up beside you.
Actions, not only alerts.
See every layer.
IBM says Turbonomic discovers what it manages at every layer, from applications to hardware, and maps the dependencies between them.
Act on live demand.
It scales VMs, containers, databases and storage up or out, places and moves workloads without disruption, and provisions nodes when demand needs them.
Automate at your pace.
Once your team has seen the recommended actions, you choose which to automate and keep control of the others.

Three of IBM’s published results.
45,000 automated actions a month.
Turbonomic takes 45,000 automated resourcing actions per month for the IBM CIO Organization, which supports 1,600 business applications, IBM reports.
175,000 actions in four months.
IBM Technology Zone, run by nine infrastructure engineers, saw more than 175,000 automated resourcing actions on premises in its first four months, IBM reports.
70% faster resourcing decisions.
APIS IT saw 70% faster resourcing decisions using IBM Instana and Turbonomic together, IBM reports.
Each figure is a customer result IBM publishes on its Turbonomic page and in that customer’s case study. IBM presents client examples as illustrations and says results vary with each client’s configuration and conditions.

Pick the edition that fits.
Three editions, as IBM names them. Turbonomic SaaS: IBM hosts and manages it, in multiple regions. Turbonomic On-premise: self-hosted, in your own data center or a cloud-based Kubernetes cluster. Turbonomic Parking Edition: parks idle workloads on AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud automatically.
It connects to what you run.
VMware vCenter, Nutanix AHV, Microsoft Hyper-V and IBM PowerVM; Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes; AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud; IBM Instana and ServiceNow, among the integrations IBM lists.

What you get.
If you run the infrastructure.
You get placement, scaling and provisioning decisions taken from live demand, across VMware, Nutanix, Hyper-V and the clouds you use. You choose which run on their own. Our engineering team connects it with you.
If you run platforms and operations.
You get containers, pods and nodes sized to real application demand on Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes, and actions that can run through your ITSM change workflows, ServiceNow among them. Our engineering team sets the policies up beside you.
If you are the CIO.
You get applications kept within their service levels, infrastructure sized to what they use, and dashboards that show what each automation decision did. Pay only for what you need. See your price first, within one business day.
You have real choices. Here is each one, plainly.
Keep the tools you have.
Nothing to buy. Nothing to move. What Turbonomic adds will still be here when you are ready.
Buy from IBM itself.
IBM sells directly to fewer than about 100 companies and organizations in the United States. Everyone else buys through an IBM Business Partner. So the real choice is which partner.
Buy through another IBM Business Partner.
Same IBM software. Same IBM programs. Ask three things: who counts what it will manage, how soon you see the price, and who connects it to your estate.
Choose a different optimization tool.
Right when your team already runs it everywhere. Compare three things: which layers it sees, whether it takes the actions or only recommends them, and what it connects to.
Use your cloud provider’s own tools.
Right when everything you run lives in one cloud and that cloud’s tools cover it. Turbonomic works across data centers, Kubernetes and several clouds at once.
Buy it through us.
You get the same IBM software. And you get our engineering team: we count what it will manage, show you your price first, and connect it to your estate with you.
IBM builds the software. We size it with you.
You see your price first.
Tell us what you’re after. One business day later you have a price, sized to fit, with nothing in it you don’t need.
Our engineering team owns it.
The engineers who size it set it up and stay through support. IBM Business Partner since 2008, 29 of 29 IBM proficiencies, one team the whole way.
It is our pleasure to meet you.

Our engineering team counts what Turbonomic will manage before the quote, picks the edition with you, connects it to your data centers, Kubernetes and clouds, and stays through setup and support.
